2016 Core Grant Application Now Open

West Chester, PA (December 7, 2015) – The Chester County Fund for Women and Girls’ 2016 Core Grants Application Cycle begins this week. The Fund’s grantmaking programs will award $250,000 total in grants this year. The grant application and guidelines are posted on the Fund’s website at www.ccfwg.org. All applicants must adhere to the requirements found on the website.  The deadline to apply is January 22nd, 2016.

The objective of the Fund’s grantmaking activities is to create positive impact in four community-identified priority areas for women and girls. As a result, the Fund will support organizations that:

  • Meet the core needs of women and girls;
  • Improve access to economic opportunities for women and girls;
  • Promote health and wellness by addressing needs specifically related to the health of women and girls;
  • Invest in systems and sustainable change efforts to challenge gender inequality

Through investment in these areas, the Fund hopes to play an active role in providing equality and security for women and girls, making our communities stronger and more vibrant for everyone. Celebrating 18 years of grantmaking, the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls is pleased to have awarded more than $2 million in grants to 65 organizations addressing the needs of women and girls in Chester County.

 

The Chester County Fund for Women and Girls is a grantmaking and education foundation dedicated to addressing the needs of women and girls in the county. For more than 18 years, the Fund has raised awareness about the critical needs of women and girls, and has awarded over $2 million to 65 non-profit organizations.
