Fund Conducting Update of Blueprint Report
In 2004, the Fund conducted the first comprehensive assessment on the needs of women and girls in Chester County, called the Blueprint Report. This groundbreaking report provided critical quantitative and qualitative information about women and girls in the county regarding such issues as poverty, housing, access to health care services, and substance abuse, among others.
We are pleased to announce that the Fund has undertaken an update to this import report. With our research partners, West Chester University Center for Social and Economic Policy Research and hundreds of nonprofit agencies across the county, have conducted “Listening Tours”: informal focus groups designed to help put a face and a story to the facts and figures of the research.
The Blueprint Report 2010 will be released in the next few weeks.
